Pediatric endocrinology

A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw. K. Marcinkowski in Poznań, doctor of medical sciences, specialist in pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology and diabetology, graduate of postgraduate studies in dietetics and nutritional counseling at the Medical University of Poznań.

I am a doctor at the Clinic of Diabetology, Auxology and Developmental Age Obesity at the Clinical Hospital of... K. Jonscher in Poznań and an assistant professor with a PhD at the Medical University of Poznań. My clinical and scientific work focuses on diabetes in children and adolescents (type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, monogenic forms of diabetes), insulin resistance, metabolic disorders resulting from body weight disorders and key processes in children's development - growth and maturation. I gained clinical experience in the Department of Diabetology, Auxology and Developmental Age Obesity at the Clinical Hospital. K. Jonscher in Poznań, where I have been working since 2012, but also during foreign internships, among others. in Italy (Milan) and Great Britain (Cambridge) and foreign courses organized by international scientific societies, i.e. European Society Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE), International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) or European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) . 

Winner of two international clinical and scientific scholarships: ESPE Clinical Fellowship and European Diabetes Procedures Foundation (EFSD) Albert Renold Travel Fellowship Program. 

I am the author and co-author of chapters in textbooks on topics related to endocrinology and pediatric diabetology, as well as numerous publications in Polish and foreign journals. I presented the results of my scientific research at national and foreign scientific meetings.
